Local - The grandest party place in the heart of the city !

Image
One of the newest restaurants in CP, Local is a very versatile, decent & comfortable restaurant. It is located at Scindia house. It is spread across a HUGE area and offers different options of seating as per your needs. The highlight is the four-side screen around the DJ. It reminds me of the centrals screens in NBA basketball stadiums. The music is great here. And the staff is very well trained and professional. Very humble, professional and helpful too. Service was great. A really huge place. It spreads over a large area that includes ground floor and 1st floor areas. And a small balcony too. Food menu has lot of options. The drinks and cocktails are really amazing. Paan Cosmopolitan was an amazing drink. Perfect balanced sweetness and flavour of the paan made it an awesome drink. I really liked the unique Paan touch to the typical cosmopolitan drink. Their paneer tacos were really great. They were made from authentic Mexican style tortilla and had great and delicio...

Trend - The newest Fine Dine in Ansal Recently visited Ansal Plaza and was excited for this new restaurant which offers a really unique culinary journey. They Staff, chef and the management are all very friendly as well as professional. The service is excellent, staff is very well trained, and the food is simply marvelous. The chef himself is very much involved with each of the tables, so as to deliver as per everyone's needs. The entrance itself was quite appealing and "trendy". Coming to the food, I firstly tried a Crispy Aloo Chaat. It was their version of Aloo Chat. The best thing I liked about this dish were the airy aloo fries. You can never get such chips in aloo chat in any other restaurant. Chicken Tikka Trilogy is another excellent dish which is offered here. It had 3 different tikka chicken. Chicken tikka was similar to the usual one, but had a special and unique touch to it. Truffle Malai Tikka was excellent. Chicken Sarson Tikka was marvelous too. Each...

A Haunted Place - Drukgyal Dzong

Image
Drukgyal Dzong was a fortress and Buddhist monastery, now in ruins, located in the upper part of the Paro District of Bhutan. This dzong was burnt down and the remains are of historical significance. It is a deserted monastery for years now after it was destroyed in fire in the 1950s. It looked more like a haunted place to me, perfect for shooting horror movies. Our driver told us it was a walk about 15 minutes up the hill to the main entrance of the monastery. We started our walk. There was a giant prayer wheel at the foot of the hill. The wind was blowing extremely fast. There was a feeling that someone is behind us. But we kept on walking. Finally we reached at the main gate of the monastery. The burnt windows, broken walls and the mysterious darkness inside gave us feeling as if something evil was waiting inside. I don't believe in Ghosts but i believe in some super power and this place surely has an immense energy (whether good or bad) linked to it.

Dead Lift

The deadlift is a weight training exercise in which a loaded barbell or bar is lifted off the ground to the level of the hips, then lowered by controlled effort to the ground. It is one of the three powerlifting exercises, along with the squat and bench press. The deadlift can be broken down into three parts: The setup, the initial pull or drive, and the lockout. When performing a deadlift, a lifter will set up in a position that eccentrically loads the gluteus maximus, minimus, biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semi membranosus while the muscles of the lumbar contract isometrically in an effort to stabilize the spine. Keep the muscles of the back contracted tightly in order to maintain a safe posture throughout the motion. Drive up and forward with the hips and legs to stand erect and lift the bar.

Battle Ropes

Jump ropes have been in our life since our childhood days. So it’s time to add a new, badass kind of rope to our fitness routine... Battle Ropes. Battle Ropes are Providing a killer workout. They are usually anchored to a wall or pole, and they may vary in length (they can be up to 100-feet long), weight, and thickness. These supersized ropes are heavy, which adds resistance  to work our muscles. They strengthen our abs, arms, and shoulders, all in one go. Battle rope exercises are must for our fitness routine!

Fitness Band

Image
The Mi Band does a great job of tracking fitness. I'm happy with this band as it does what it's meant for at a very cheap price. The Mi Band works with any Android phone. Set up takes a couple of tries, but once you get it going, you’ll never need to worry again. The software is intuitive, the device is hassle-free, and the battery lasts for a month, so you won’t have to worry about constantly charging it. The Mi Band tries to estimate how many calories you burnt in the day, based on how many steps you took. The Mi Band's sleep tracking is good and accurate - the module automatically detects that you've gone to sleep, or woken up, and is a useful guide to how you're actually sleeping. If you want a band that vibrates when you get calls, texts, and app notifications, then the Mi Band is a good purchase. All of these features worked well.
